Summer has come and gone and we've been busy this year around BUMC.

We have completely refurbished our beautiful sanctuary. We completely repainted everything inside and out. The main color inside is a linen tint with pale linen trim. The colors really enhance the colors in the stained glass windows we like so much.

The hardwood floor has been sanded and refinished to enhance the natural beauty of the wood grain. All of the pews have been stripped back to their original wood grain and have been finished with a clear coat.

The altar rail was also refinished with its natural wood grain showing through. New curtains for the modesty rails around the organ and piano and new pads for the altar chairs are be in place and add so much to the overall appearance.

We worshiped for the first time in our "new" Sanctuary on August 26th and had a wonderful service of Reconsecration.
