Good Wednesday morning,
Sorry the broadcast is running late this week. I was in ATL for the last two days doing conference business and for some reason I could not send e-mails from my laptop over there.
We had a good time at the UMYF Pancake Breakfast. I wish more of you had been there. We’ll give you another chance sometime in the future.
Don’t forget our prayer cards on the table in the alcove of the Sanctuary. People who have been receiving them have been blessed and I get feed back on that from them regularly.
Below you will find the updated prayer list and announcements and the sermon notes from last Sunday. Have a good rest of the week.

Today’s Message “Living Right in a World Going Wrong”
Ø The Epistle, Letter, of 1 John was written to the family oriented church at Ephesus. It could well have been written to the family oriented church at Bostwick.
Ø 1 John 1:1-2 (862) – John, a first-hand eye witness, proclaims Jesus as the Word of Life.
Ø 1 John 1:5 (862) – John proclaims God as Light
Ø 1 John 4:7-8 (863) – John proclaims God as Love
Ø 1 John 1:8-9 (862) – John gives us all as sense of assurance
Ø 1 John 3:21-24 (863) – John gives us re-assurance
Ø 1 John 5:13 (864) – John gives us absolute assurance
Ø 1 John 1:4 (862) – With all of this, John is writing to make sure we can know that our Joy can be complete in Christ
1 John 5:13 – I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. (NIV)
Yours in Christ,
