Good Monday morning!
I sure did enjoy our service yesterday. I always love the opportunity to serve Holy Communion to the Body of Christ.
Please remember to continue to bring your Lenten Offering so we can buy those babies some blankets. We are doing pretty good so far, but I know we can do better as we near the finish line.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I had a full weekend. On Friday I flew out to Oklahoma to hold the service on Saturday for Mrs. Nadine Schaller. I met all of Joan Taylor’s family and they were very gracious to a visiting Georgian.
On Sunday the 14th we will have a memorial service for Mrs. Schaller in our sanctuary at 3 pm. It will be a service filled with music that Mrs. Schaller would have loved. Afterward there will be visitation in the fellowship hall. Some of you might like to bring some snacks or finger foods to help during this time.
We have a couple of updates to take care of on the medical front.
Renee Tallman is out of the hospital and recovering.
Hilda Carter is also home and recovering, I’m sure Tommy is taking good care of her.
Bob Hoadley will be receiving information about his bone marrow biopsy tomorrow, please be in prayer for that.
Gail Kidd will have surgery tomorrow to remove a tumor in her brain. She also has a couple of places in her lung that they will decide what to do with after they see how the surgery goes. Please be in prayer for that whole family.
